One-day workshop

Selected workshops and courses

AI adoptionfor change leaders

AI is on the verge of widespread adoption, but experience in companies shows one common pattern: the technology is ready, while people and culture often aren’t.

This one-day workshop helps AI adoption leaders introduce AI in a way that lets people build it into their everyday work and makes the change sustainable and effective. It combines strategy, human behavior, and practical methods, and offers a methodology for getting past the hardest barrier in adoption: people. It also offers ongoing development in an online community of AI adoption leaders.

Who it’s for

This workshop was created for leaders who want to understand the main barriers to AI adoption and learn to overcome them in a structured, human way, with practical methods that work in companies in the Czech Republic and internationally.

Trainers

The workshop also draws on the unique combination of two trainers’ expertise: Daniel Franc, a longtime expert in technology adoption and change built around people (ex-Google and Gen Digital, currently Česká spořitelna, among others), and Josef Dvořák (AI Lead at Finshape and Partner at Direct People), who brings fresh experience introducing innovation and AI in companies.

Agenda

Why AI adoption most often fails

  • The mistakes most companies make
  • Why technology and training alone aren’t enough
  • Which organizational traps hold back real change
  • Where the biggest barriers lie in 2026: not just people’s readiness, but also AI that isn’t fully built into work processes and a shift in how value is created

Top-down vs. bottom-up: how to align them

  • How to set up the roles of leadership, team leads, people, and communities
  • How to combine centralized and decentralized implementation
  • What to set top-down, and where to make room for decentralized, bottom-up adoption

Principles of successful AI adoption

  • How to connect AI strategy with people’s everyday work
  • From personal and team productivity to redesigning workflows, work, and end-to-end processes
  • How to align an AI vision with processes and projects
  • How to build clear, realistic AI use cases

Changing culture and mindset, with ambassadors

  • How to work with microlearning, experiments, and learning on the job
  • How to use ambassador programs, and where they most often go wrong
  • How to keep AI adoption going so it doesn’t end up as a one-off project

Dealing with obstacles on the people side

  • From resistance and fears to missing skills
  • What really makes people willing to change the way they work
  • How to create an environment of safety and curiosity

Practical experience from companies

  • Concrete examples from Czech and international organizations
  • What works in teams, and what keeps failing
  • Discussing your own situations and how to solve them
  • How to keep going in the AI Adoption Leaders community

How the workshop came about and what’s new

We’ve been running the workshop successfully for more than two and a half years, and dozens of adoption leaders have gone through it.

We keep updating it. In the current version, we’ll show how to move from the first stages of adoption to genuinely changing the company with AI. It’s no longer just the work of individuals that is changing, but entire workflows and end-to-end processes, and with them how work is structured and what roles people play. We’ll go through how to guide people through this change while aligning it with the top-down mandate and strategy. We’ll look at the most common mistakes in ambassador programs, at how deploying AI agents affects adoption, and at how to rebuild work and involve people in rolling out end-to-end processes.

1 year free for alumni

The AI Adoption Leaders community

Alumni automatically get a free year of membership in the AI Adoption Leaders community. The community meets online for an hour roughly once a month, and occasionally in person, and offers:

  • a safe space built on trust,
  • sharing real cases and how they were solved,
  • access to other leaders’ experience,
  • support from people in a similar situation

In AI adoption, we learn best from people who are in the same boat as we are, and this is where you’ll find them.
